HR Practices Review

The Human Resources Practices Review (HR Review) is a service the Hawaii Employers Council (HEC) offers to member companies. The Review is comprised of a two-part questionnaire:

HR Practices Review Questionnaire Part I
HR Practices Review Questionnaire Part II

The HR Review has been prepared by HEC to help management personnel of member firms evaluate their human resource policies and procedures.

It focuses on the requirements of some of the major employment-related laws. It is not a substitute for individual consultation or legal advice.

Labor and benefit-related laws are subject to frequent change. As such, the results of the HR Review are valid only for those laws currently in place at the time the HR Review is conducted.

It is not possible to cover all aspects of human resource policies; much also depends on how these policies are interpreted and implemented by the company. Even if no recommendations are made at the time, it does not mean that the company has ideal policies or practices. Please keep in mind that the results of the HR Review reflect the accuracy of the responses.

Participation in the HR Review does not prevent an onsite review by any federal or state labor law enforcement agency.

If you are interested in participating in the Review, complete these questionnaires and either return them by mail or call to schedule an appointment with a professional staff member.
