Guides and Research Reports


The Hawaii Employers Council has prepared a variety of Guides and Research Reports for private circulation to management personnel of member companies. Because different companies may have unique needs or requirements, the guides are intended as examples only, and you should consult with a human resources professional or employment attorney prior to utilizing any of the following materials. While HEC does not specifically recommend their use, member companies may find these sample documents helpful in developing materials to suit their organizational needs.

Because laws, rules, and regulations change over time, it is strongly recommended that policies, procedures and printed materials be reviewed at least annually to ensure that the contents keep pace with those changes. Always remember that all documentary records may be subject to review, so carefully assess each record’s accuracy and completeness and the purpose it serves.
