Bonnie Freitas, VP and Director of HR Services, recently joined HEC after 28 years in private industry with the last 5 years as VP of Human Resources, responsible for a variety of HR functions, including staffing and staff development, benefits, payroll, employee and labor relations and workers compensation. In her position with HEC, she has responsibility for the development, implementation and coordination of our HR programs, research projects and member services.

Bonnie has a Masters of Business Administration from Chaminade University and Bachelors of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Personnel & Industrial Relations, from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She has been a volunteer and board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu and is an active board member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation.
