Clayton Kamida is the Executive VP and General Counsel for the Hawaii Employers Council. Prior to joining HEC in 2005, his legal practice focused on representing Hawaii employers in labor and employment matters. He has represented employers in state and federal court, in arbitrations, and in proceedings before the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board, Hawaii Labor and Industrial Relations Appeals Board, and other state and federal administrative agencies. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and his law degree from the University of Illinois, magna cum laude.
