Carrie Takahama joins HEC with 18 years of generalist experience in Human Resources with Hawaiian Airlines and most recently as Human Resources Manager with the Waikiki Parc Hotel. She has experience in both union and non-union organizations, with employee populations ranging from 100 to 2,500 employees.

Carrie received her Bachelor of Education with an emphasis in physical education, health and recreation from the University of Hawaii. She is a member of the local and national chapters of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and has earned the Certified Professional Human Resources (PHR) designation.
