Mike joined the Council as a Sr Labor Relations Consultant after thirty-four years of airline industry service where his responsibilities included being the chief negotiator for the company in negotiations with the Air Line Pilots Association, Transport Workers Union, International Association of Machinists, and Hawaii Teamsters Local 996. He assists member companies in contract negotiations, administration and grievance handling.

Mike serves on the Board of the Honolulu Christian Church and the Central YMCA Board of Managers.
