The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a 46-page directive to minimize high occupational exposure risk to the 2009 H1N1 virus to workers with patient contact or handling contaminated material in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting.

OSHA also has developed a webpage providing current information about the 2009 H1N1 flu and resources detailing the steps that managers, employers and workers in other industries need to take.
