About one out of every four businesses do not reopen following a major disaster, says Business.gov, and that getting back to business after a disaster depends on prior preparedness planning.

As the official link to the federal government, Business.gov offers a number of resources for emergency planning, including how to prepare a disaster plan, what kind of disaster assistance, loans and tax relief are available for affected businesses, information on disaster cleanup and safety precautions, and state-by-state links to pertinent emergency resources.
