Mike Vasper joined the HEC professional staff on June 25th as an HR Consultant, and will be engaged in providing a variety of training, consulting, and on-site human resources services for our members.

Mike was a Senior HR Generalist with Healthways Hawaii, with responsibility for all human resources functions in Hawaii. Prior to joining Healthways, Mike spent 8 years with Pomare (Hilo Hattie) and was responsible for recruitment and staffing, new hire orientation, training, and employee relations. He has his SPHR certificate and has instructed certification classes in Workforce Planning, Benefits and Compensation, and Laws and Legislation. Welcome aboard, Mike!
