Federal construction contractors who are HEC members can sign up for a free program on August 28 at the HEC, which will provide compliance assistance on the 16 affirmative action steps they need to be taking, as well as the other employer requirements from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.

The two-hour seminar will be conducted by OFCCP Compliance Officers Margaret Trejo and Jennifer Yeh and will help federal construction employers prepare for a compliance evaluation; provide valuable instructional tools and step-by-step guidance on affirmative action; recommendations on how to document evidence of compliance efforts; and promote the advantages of connecting with Community Based Organizations.
