The Workforce Development Council and the Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations are sponsoring a one-day workshop covering sustainability for Hawaii businesses, including opportunities for growth, strategies for cost savings and resource efficiencies, employee engagement and marketing communications to be held in Kailua-Kona August 1st, Honolulu August 8th, and Lihue August 10th.

The workshop will be led by Scott Cooney, an adjunct Professor of sustainability in the MBA program at UH Manoa's Shidler College of Business and Principal of the sustainability strategy firm GBO Group, and Shanah Trevenna, President of the Sustainability Association of Hawaii.
