The Hawaii Health Connector, the state’s health insurance exchange established as part of the federal health insurance reform effort, is asking the business community to participate in their Community Outreach Committee to have a voice in developing affordable health care coverage and access to that coverage in Hawaii.

For business owners who find it difficult to leave their workplaces to attend forums, the outreach program is open to coming to the business with information about the health insurance exchange. The community outreach is responding to requests for information about The Connector, and is in the process of lining up a number of speaking engagements for community groups.
