Reasonable Accommodation Focus of HCRC Annual Training on Oct. 30
The Hawaii Civil Rights Commission is offering a half day training session on October 30 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall focusing on reasonable accommodation under both federal and state law, including the types of reasonable accommodations that can be provided to people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, pregnant employees, and those employees requesting religious accommodations.
The program will also cover how to engage in the interactive process to provide reasonable accommodations, and a mock mediation of a disability discrimination case involving an accommodation request. See here for registration information or contact Cathy Simmons at 586-8659 or Catherine.M.Simmons@hawaii.gov.
