USCIS to Host Meetings in Hilo, Kona and Maui Covering Immigration, E-Verify

The Honolulu Field Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is presenting an Autumn Stakeholders Meeting and Information Session to be held in Hilo on September 20; in Kona on Sept 21; and in Wailuku on September 24.
All three program commence at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m., and will cover
  • Updates on the Honolulu Field Office and the Application Support Center processes
  • ELIS, the Transformation to the new USCIS Electronic Immigration System
  • Immigration Options for Victims of Crimes
  • E-Verify Rights and Responsibilities DVD
  • Expanding Citizenship Education in your community
  • Naturalization Interview and Test DVD
  • The exercise of prosecutorial discretion on an individualized basis with respect to certain individuals who came to the United States as children. This discussion on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals will include information on how to avoid becoming a victim of immigration scams and how and where to report such scams

The Hilo meeting will be conducted at the Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi Street; the Kona meeting will be conducted at the West Hawaii Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy; and the Wailuku meeting will be conducted at the Maui Economic Opportunity Classroom, 99 Mahalani Street.
