Managing Your Workers Compensation and LOA Programs Offered on Nov. 13

Pearl Petrus Horiuchi A full-day seminar on properly managing a workers compensation program, including risks, planning for future workers’ compensation costs, and leave management strategies when dealing with injured employees will be held on November 13 in HEC’s Kahili Meeting Room.

Speakers from the workers compensation insurance industry, including Carolyn Pearl, Affiliate Services Executive of National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc., and Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP Partners Barbara Petrus and Anne Horiuchi, will present a comprehensive view of how the process works—from the claims adjustment process, to reducing the risk of on-the-job injuries, to how to manage workers’ compensation leaves of absence when balancing other laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and Hawaii Family Leave Law.
