Hawaii Employers Council members now have access to a comprehensive library of online courses through HEC’s Learning Management System (LMS). Online learning is an affordable, convenient, and flexible option to provide an on-demand solution to your growth and development initiatives to enhance skills, provide knowledge, address behavioral issues, and reduce risk for your employees.
We have courses that cover everything from compliance, safety, leadership and management skills, wellness, and soft skills (behavioral and interpersonal relationship and workplace skills). Online courses can be used to:
- Complete annual compliance training requirements such as Workplace Harassment, Cybersecurity, or HIPAA
- Complete new employee onboarding process
- Support or facilitate special workplace initiatives such as promoting Safety or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Provide training to leaders to support their growth and development
- Provide education to individual contributors as a part of their growth and development or reskill
- Create a blended learning experience by combining an online course with a privately facilitated course or workshop to deepen the understanding and apply the skills to real-life situations
Courses can be assigned to any employee with an email address. Simply:
- Select the course
- Specify the assignment date and completion date
- Provide the names and email addresses of the employees
Reminders are programmed into the system and released automatically, and simple Excel reports help you keep track of your employee’s completion status.
Only pay for what you need when you need it! There is no company-wide monthly recurring cost per employee - just a one-time setup fee of $200. Pricing is based on a “Per Employee Per Course” basis and varies based on the type and length of the course.
