9180635 Worksite Wellness Workshops: Session 2 - Caregiving in the Workplace
June 27, 2018 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Employers today face several worksite challenges and one of the biggest is the working caregiver. Studies show that an employee dealing with caregiving has a direct impact to productivity on the job and healthcare costs.  Many employers do not realize that a leave for care for a loved one often results in a disability claim later down the road.  During this workshop participants will learn:

  • Caregiving Impact to Health and Wellness Programs
  • How To Help Employees Recognize Caregiving Challenges Early
  • Keys to Minimizing Negative Health Outcomes
  • Understanding Long Term Care Options
  • Awareness and Prevention Around Elder Abuse and Fraud

About Our Speaker

Kevin Sypniewski is President & CEO of AGIS, a company he founded in 1998 to facilitate the exchange of caregiving information, insurance benefits and services to help individuals, employers, government agencies, and service providers meet caregiving challenges.

Employers are finding AGIS’s free tools, including their new Caregiving Exchange, simplify and enrich the lives of older adults and their families by uniting eldercare education with access to local, regional, and national support services.

In addition to providing caregiving support, AGIS Network Inc. is one of the largest employer-based LTC insurance distributors in the country placing more worksite LTC insurance than some leading carriers.

AGIS offers a national provider network of over 200,000 members and have served over 450 clients, including employers, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and LTC service providers.

Prior to founding AGIS/AssistGuide, he was a Regional Sales Representative for UNUM in Texas (1988-1992) and subsequently UNUM Manager in Hawaii (1992-1998).
