It’s no secret that social media is a powerful and effective way to communicate in today’s world. For companies small or large it can be a great tool to spread the word about a product or connect with customers. As an employer, however, we often forget about Social Media as a way to help us with internal efforts such as recruitment or to solidify our brand to help with employee engagement and loyalty.
Learn from social media guru Melissa Chang and communications expert Amanda Corby Noguchi how to maximize your use of social media as an employer beyond just pushing product.
In this session, you will learn:
- What social media consist of, the different platforms of communication, and social media trends;
- Advantages and challenges of using social media as a communication platform;
- Tips on how to grow your following and engage an audience with effective content and messaging; and
- Ideas for using social media as an employer for recruitment and employee engagement.
This class is geared for those who may already have a foundational knowledge of social media, and are looking to grow their use and hone their skills in this area.
