Speaker, Todd Lyon, will examine arbitrator-recognized rules of interpretation and dissect typical labor contract articles like management rights, seniority, and various types of benefits language. Then, Todd will carefully wade into dangerous arguments of past practice and transfers of bargaining unit work providing attendees with a path to winning your next grievance. Through a series of hypotheticals, attendees will have an opportunity to test their skills in the wilds of interpreting a collective bargaining agreement. Bring your Collective Bargaining Agreement
