Join us for this dynamic presentation “Obesity – A Misunderstood and Undermanaged Workforce Health Disease” to learn what’s working, what’s not working, and what’s new in addressing obesity in the workplace!  Additionally, the session will highlight the important role the employer plays in how they need to exert their leverage for obesity to be treated as a disease.

Participants will learn and engage in discussions focusing on:

  • Studies that look at the effects of obesity on employer cost and health
  • Examine public bias against obesity
  • The prevalence of patient denial
  • Define the treatment gap in care due to multiple factors

Kathy Brady has more than 25 years of experience in strategic health and disease management development as well as benefit and pharmacy plan design.  During her career, Kathy has developed employer health management programs, communications, and innovative techniques to help achieve positive health outcomes.

Kathy is passionate about tying employee incentives to direct and indirect costs, implement comprehensive programs, and analyzing outcomes.
