Recent tragic events cause many to ask, “What would you do?” Or, alternatively, “What should you do?” Active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, and what you do in that short time span may be crucial to mitigate harm. Join us for a presentation by FBI Special Agent Jason White to learn what actions may be taken when confronted by an active shooter. SA White will guide you through best practices associated with preparing for and responding to these critical incidents. Having an emergency action plan and being mentally prepared can help you, your staff, and loved ones effectively respond and keep as safe as possible.
Special Agent Jason K. White served in the San Diego Division of the FBI upon graduation of new agents training at Quantico, VA. While in San Diego, SA White worked Counterterrorism Investigations in the aftermath of the Sept 11, 2001 attacks. SA White was also assigned to the Arellano-Félix Drug Cartel Task Force and worked border corruption at the San Ysidro Border Crossing. In 2004, SA White transferred to the Honolulu Division where he has worked a variety of criminal investigations ranging from bank robberies to organized crime. SA White is a certified SWAT Operator, Crisis Negotiator, Firearms and Tactical Instructor, ALERRT Instructor, and Polygraph Examiner. He is currently serving as the Media Coordinator for the Honolulu Division.
