Background: To ensure a safe workplace, many employers would like to ask employees to complete a wellness survey prior to working but are looking for software assistance to help track the data. To help members understand vendors on the market for such platforms, HEC is presenting two demonstrations – one by FirstVitals on August 26 and another by iHealthHome on August 28. HEC members are invited to attend one or both presentations to learn about these two different platforms currently available to Hawaii employers. Below is the description of the FirstVitals’ presentation.
Description: FirstVitals’ COVID Response Information System (CRIS™) is a critical resource in helping employers protect their most valued resource, their workers. Daily monitoring of one’s health and well-being prior to coming to work can aid in early detection of infectious disease and is an effective measure to prevent community spread of COVID-19.
FirstVitals will provide a web demo of the CRIS™ platform which will allow employers to assess and track the COVID-19 status of their workforce in real time. The CRIS™ platform will allow employees to attest to their COVID-19 symptom status and the results will be made available to their shift supervisor/human resource department for personnel resource management. Each work day, employees will complete a short, symptom-focused questionnaire—based on Centers for Disease Control and employer guidelines—and will be given an immediate cleared or not cleared notification to report to work. Employees who aren’t cleared to return to work will be connected to FirstVitals telemedicine service to further triage COVID-19 symptoms. FirstVitals is a credential provider with health plans in Hawaii can provide telemedicine consults at no out of pocket cost to the employees.
