Please join us for facilitated conversations to explore how to welcome diversity and foster an inclusive culture. This is not a training session, though is an invitation for dialogue. The hope is that participants will come with curiosity to share and learn with others in the community. Please come with questions and also be ready to share your experiences and best practices with others.
We will be offering this open forum on a monthly basis with the first two dates set: November 18 and December 16. These sessions are intentionally scheduled for 90 minutes due to the interactive nature to allow for thoughtful conversation.
For the first open forum on November 18, Traci Manalani, will have questions to facilitate discussion. Please be ready to participate as there will be small-group discussions (in breakout format) as well as larger group sharing. In the future, we may invite presenters to share their experiences for a portion of the session.
You must register to attend. Currently this is only open to members of HEC only at no cost.
So that we can make the most out our time together, please take a couple minutes to share what you are hoping to get out of participating in the Open Forum. Your input will help us better prepare so that we can share more context in advance with interested participants and so that we can be ready to have more resources available in response. Please share your input at this link.
