Navigating Recent Executive Orders: Implications for Federal Agencies and Consideration for Employers

Date: February 21, 2025
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location:
ZOOM

Join us for an engaging discussion exploring the latest executive orders issued by President Trump and their potential ripple effects on federal agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).

Labor and employment law expert, attorney Anna Elento-Sneed of ES&A Inc. and Michelle Kim Stone, HEC’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, will break down the key aspects of the orders, discussing how they could shape agency priorities, workplace policies, compliance obligations, and operational strategies. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of:

  • The anticipated changes at these agencies and their areas of focus.
  • How the executive orders could affect employment law, workplace diversity initiatives, immigration compliance, and labor relations.
  • Thought-provoking ideas to spark strategic discussions within your company.
  • Practical steps employers can take to prepare for these changes.

Our panelists will respond to attendee questions, ensuring a dynamic and thought-provoking dialogue. You’ll leave the session with actionable insights and a deeper understanding of the changes on the horizon.
