Identifying Waste - ETF-Approved

Date: April 8, 2025
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location:
Microsoft Teams

Join us for an in-depth exploration of the forms of waste that can occur in any process across all industries. This hands-on workshop will help participants recognize inefficiencies in physical operations or digital workflows and empower them to return to their organizations with the tools to drive meaningful improvements. Waste identification is a fundamental element of Continuous Improvement (CI) and a critical step in Lean Six Sigma, which focuses on creating more efficient, productive, and quality-driven processes.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Learn to identify the eight types of waste in processes (e.g., overproduction, waiting, transportation, excess inventory, etc.).
  • Understand how waste can manifest in both physical and digital processes, especially in today’s office environments.
  • Equip yourself with strategies to spot inefficiencies and implement solutions to optimize workflow.
  • Gain insights into Six Sigma tools that complement waste identification efforts.
  • This session is ideal for professionals at any level who are looking to streamline their processes, reduce inefficiencies, and contribute to their organization’s broader Continuous Improvement goals
