Attorney Jenny Yang confirmed to fill Vacant EEOC Seat
On April 25, the United States Senate confirmed the nomination of Jenny Yang (D) to serve on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term expiring on July 1, 2017.
Yang has worked as a partner with the Washington D.C. firm of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll since 2003. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the employment litigation section of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. As her term commences, Yang will join EEOC Chair Jacqueline Berrien and Commissioner Chai Feldblum, also Democrats, and commissioners Constance Barker and Victoria Lipnic, both Republicans, on the Commission.
