Ceridian offers Three Gold Medal HR Technology Trends for 2014
As the world's best gather to compete at the Olympics in Sochi next month, human resources professionals are taking stock of their best performing "players," too.
Results from the 2013 Towers Watson HR Service Delivery and Technology Survey found that the gold medal player for HR professionals is clearly technology. In fact, HR technology is so important that 53 percent of surveyed organizations plan to match last year's investment levels, while more than a quarter (27 percent) plan to increase investments in 2014.

1. Implementing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
Of the organizations surveyed by Towers Watson, nearly one-third plan to implement a new HR management system in the near future. Close to 90 percent of those organizations will look at SaaS solutions as a replacement for their existing management system, and one in three will ultimately choose a SaaS-based solution, according to survey results.
