Free Workshop Offered Regarding Hawaii’s Prevailing Wage Law

The Wage Standards Division of Hawaii’s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR) is offering a free workshop concerning the requirements of Chapter 104 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, Wages and Hours of Employees on Public Works Law.  HRS Chapter 104 requires public works construction projects over $2,000 to pay prevailing wages to laborers and mechanics, and requires weekly submissions of certified payrolls.

Workshop Title: Overview of Chapter 104 Wages and Hours of Employees on Public Works Law

Date and Time: October 9, 2018, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Location: DLIR, 830 Punchbowl Street, Conference Room 310
