The Hawaii Employers Council has released its members-only Legislative Highlights article that discusses several employment-related measures that were introduced during the 2020 legislative session.  This white paper covers six different areas of law that may be impacted as a result of this year’s session.

Specifically, the topics discussed in the Legislative Highlights article include (1) minimum wage, (2) employment discrimination, (3) equal pay and pay transparency, (4) nondisclosure agreements and sexual harassment, (5) Hawaii Family Leave Law expansion, and (6) criminal history check.  As the session progresses, HEC will continue to monitor and report on bills that may be of interest to employers doing business in Hawaii.
