Following Governor David Ige's signing of House Bill 2510 into law as Act 114, which will progressively increase Hawaii's minimum wage, slated to reach $18.00 per hour by 2028, increases in internal minimum wage will continue to rise. This marks a significant increase and approaches the current federal contractor minimum wage, which currently stands at $16.20 and is projected to rise to $17.20 by 2024.
