This whitepaper follows up on our previous article, Anticipated Changes to Minimum Salary Thresholds for Hawaii’s Exempt Employees, and our suggestion to take the time to review all your exempt positions in your organization.
The guidance will assist our members in determining whether you are subject to wage and hour requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and help you identify exemptions under both FLSA and Hawaii laws that may apply to your employees.
