The filing deadline for Second Crossover passed on April 10, 2025. This was the last day for bills to pass third reading in the non-originating chamber and “crossover” back to the original chamber. It was also the deadline for the originating chamber to disagree with any amendments made by the non-originating chamber. If the Senate and House disagree on a bill, a conference committee may meet to resolve disagreements. The next notable deadlines are April 24-25, 2025, when non-fiscal and fiscal bills must be submitted for final reading.
