The Hawaii Employers Council (HEC) extends a heartfelt mahalo to everyone who helped make Talent Summit 2025 a resounding success. Held on July 11, the sold-out event brought together over 250 passionate HR professionals, business leaders, and changemakers from across Hawaii to explore the future of workforce strategy and talent development.

From the opening keynote to the final breakout session, the energy throughout the day was electric. Attendees filled the room with curiosity, insight, and inspiration, engaging in vibrant conversations about innovation, leadership, and culture. The event proved that Hawaii’s HR community isn’t just ready for change but eager to lead it.

Themes That Resonate

Participants used words like “energizing,” “uplifting,” “human-centered,” and “empowering” to describe their experience. Many noted how meaningful it was to connect with others in the field, share ideas, and reflect on shared challenges. The call for more networking and interactive opportunities was loud and clear, and we’re listening.

Survey results and feedback revealed three major themes attendees want to build on:

  • Deeper Connections – More time to engage with peers, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.
  • Innovative Programming – Sessions that address future-forward topics like AI, generational shifts, and culture transformation.
  • Actionable Takeaways – Tools, strategies, and insights that attendees can immediately apply in their own workplaces.

Looking Ahead

The summit also sparked inspiration for what’s next. Many attendees shared how they were motivated to review their leadership strategies, build stronger workplace cultures, and explore how technology—especially AI—can play a role in workforce innovation.

As we plan future events, your input will continue to guide us. We remain committed to delivering content that is fresh, expert, and aligned with the evolving needs of Hawaii’s employers. We’re already gearing up for next year and can’t wait to share what’s in store.
