Posted Tuesday, March 24, 2020 6:27 am

Hawaii Employers Council is pleased to welcome Emily Marr, who started working as Assistant General Counsel on January 2.  Emily recently shared tips on remote work policies in the March 17 edition of Pacific Business News.

Emily provides legal support to HEC’s Labor and HR Services departments and to HEC member companies.

Emily joined HEC as Assistant General Counsel after working at Marr Jones & Wang, where her practice focused on labor and employment law. Emily previously clerked for Judges David McKeague (Sixth Cir.), Susan Oki Mollway (D. Haw.), and J. Michael Seabright (D. Haw.). Emily also practiced law at Paul, Weiss in New York City.

Emily earned a B.A. in Politics, summa cum laude, from Whitman College, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan School of Law. Emily volunteers as a mediator and arbitrator, and she currently serves as the President-Elect of the Hawaii Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Welcome, Emily!
