Investigating and Addressing Misconduct - Virtual Interactive Workshop

Course Description:

In this session, attendees will concentrate on conducting a proper, thorough investigation. In addition to understanding the business impact of an effective investigation, they will learn its process and application as well as how to appropriately document investigation findings, particularly in cases of alleged misconduct (on-duty and off-duty), sexual harassment, and other performance problem areas.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the importance of investigations in the workplace and who conducts them
  • Discover what a proper investigation looks like and the questions asked
  • Understand how to disseminate facts and determine appropriate discipline
  • Identify the proper documentation needed to support an investigation

The Fundamentals of Supervision courses are an introduction to important knowledge and skills required to effectively manage a team.  Valuable for the first-time supervisor or as good refresher back-to-basics courses for any supervisor. Register for the entire series or individual sessions.

Requests for rescheduling must be made 2 days before the class date.
