Fundamentals of Supervision (FOS 5) - Investigating and Addressing Misconduct
Course Description:
In this session, participants will learn the essential skills and strategies to equip supervisors in handling workplace conflicts effectively. Participants will learn to identify, address, and resolve conflicts within their teams through an in-depth exploration of communication techniques, mediation strategies, and other proactive measures.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand a supervisor’s role in recognizing and managing conflict
- Recognize sources of organizational conflict
- Identify conflict behaviors
- Discover strategies for conflict management and conflict prevention
The Fundamentals of Supervision courses are an introduction to important knowledge and skills required to effectively manage a team. Valuable for the first-time supervisor or as good refresher back-to-basics courses for any supervisor. Register for the entire series or individual sessions.
