Failed change initiatives are costly and greatly erode our credibility as leaders and organizations.  There is theory, there is science, and then there is the reality of actual practice!  So, how exactly do you create change that sticks and why is it so critical to get it right?  Mastering this is arguably the single-most important leadership competency you and your team need to have in today’s world.

In this applied learning workshop, participants will:

1. Understand the critical elements of change leadership and common change management frameworks.
2. Examine the human behavioral aspects of change, and why it is so critical to “get it right”.
3. Examine lessons learned from case examples from local, national, and global firms.
4. Apply concepts learned to relatable scenarios.
5. Practice newly learned skills by populating a change leadership plan template that addresses actual challenges participants are currently facing in their organization.
6. Connect with like-minded leaders and peers for future idea exchange and collaboration.

 About the Speaker:

Claudia Crist MHA, RN, FACHE, SHRM-SCP is President of Kalaukia Enterprises LLC.  She is a highly engaging speaker and facilitator with a proven results track record throughout her 20+ year executive career in both private and public sectors. Ms. Crist’s ultimate key to success have been her ability to lead change, and her passion for elevating staff and leaders by helping them recognize and reach their potential.

Ms. Crist earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University and holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Southern California. She holds a Certificate in Change Management from Cornell University. Ms. Crist is also a Senior Certified Professional as designated by the Society of Human Resource Management.

In her free time, Ms. Crist enjoys actively exploring the natural beauty Hawai’i has to offer. She is president-elect of the Hawai'i-Pacific Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and board member with the YMCA of Honolulu.
