Management Development Program (MDP 2) - The Human-Centered Approach to Change
"The Human-Centered Approach to Change"
Course Description
Change is inevitable in the business world, and businesses that struggle to adapt, struggle to succeed. Whether that change is big or small, managers often find themselves leading the charge in supporting organizational changes with their teams. Understanding how to navigate change effectively is paramount for today’s managers, as your approach could be the difference between acceptance or rejection amongst your team.
Throughout this virtual course, managers will gain deeper insight into key concepts surrounding change management that will allow them to manage change proactively, minimize resistance, and foster a positive and resilient workforce. Topics will include the significance of change adoption, change management principles, as well as supporting your team to embrace change to achieve business objectives.

Talent & Organizational Development Team
Kimberlee Davis recently joined the Hawaii Employers Council team in October of 2022 and is excited to grow her training and facilitation capabilities within the company. As a trainer in the Talent & Organizational Development department, she will deliver the Fundamentals of Supervision, oversee the administration of the Learning Management System, develop online courses as well as help design and deliver learning experiences for our Hawaii Employers Council members.
Before coming to Hawaii Employers Council, Kimberlee worked as the Manager of Learning and Development for a large public library system in St. Louis, MO. She oversaw the company learning pathway for the organization’s 400+ staff, developed customized training experiences to help staff meet their learning goals, as well as created and facilitated the launch for the company’s first New Hire Orientation program. Kimberlee also brings with her 5 years of tactile experience in the field of education. Her time as an educator allowed her to work with learners of all ages, ranging from as young as kindergarten to more experienced adult learners in both large and small group settings. This wide range of experiences has helped her develop a proficient understanding of the learning development process.
Born and raised in Illinois, Kimberlee went to school at Eastern Illinois University where she obtained her degree in K-12 education with an English Language Arts minor.
