Using Continuous Improvement Tools to Create Efficiency - ETF-Approved
This course will combine everyday use Continuous Improvement tools to allow employees and leaders in organizations to identify current state of their processes and identify waste, specifically in areas for efficiency and improvement. After improvement area identification, the session will discuss how to put items into an action plan review and implementation steps. Participants will be given templates and guides to take back to their own organizations for further use and ongoing training.
Workshop participants are also welcome to bring an example process to the workshop if they want to work on a real-life use case or specific for their department.
All materials and presentation will be shared post session.
About the Speaker:
Joe Bolton joined HEC in 2024 with over 20 years of experience within Hawaii in Learning and Development, Lean Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement. Joe has experience in retail, hospitality, and, most recently, the airline industry. In his roles, Joe partnered with executive and senior leadership to identify and implement strategy while working with leadership and employees to implement change in both departmental and company-wide initiatives. Joe was responsible for training and certifying leaders in Lean Six Sigma and led Learning and Development and Continuous Improvement teams at the director level in hospitality and aviation. Joe holds a Master of Education in Learning Technology and Instructional Design, a Master Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma, and a Change Management Specialist certification.
At HEC, Joe will deliver Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma training and certification while providing strategic solutions for process improvement and change management for organizations.

Note: If your ETF is not approved by the State ETF Office before July 21, 2025, you will be required to pay the remaining 50% of the course fee before taking the course.

No Shows on the day of the workshop cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
