Member Training for the New HEC Website (Session 1)

We are excited to announce the launch of our new website and member portal, powered by iMIS on March 2, 2026. Our new member portal is designed to make your experience more efficient, with simple, self-service tools that help you manage your membership and access services in just a few clicks.

To ensure a smooth transition, the Hawaii Employers Council is hosting two identical one-hour training sessions on February 24 and 26. Click here to register for the February 26 training session. These sessions will provide a helpful overview of the new system, including how to navigate the portal, manage your membership, and register for events. While not required, attending a session is highly recommended so you can feel confident using the new portal and take full advantage of its features from the start.

The training will be conducted via Zoom and is free for all members.

What We Will Cover

Our team will provide a step-by-step walkthrough of the most important features of the new portal:

  1. Accessing Your Account: Learn how to log in for the first time. We will demonstrate how to use the "Forgot Password" link to set your new credentials and ensure your contact information is up to date.
  2. Membership Renewals and Billing: Understand how to manage your dues through the portal. We will show you how to:
    1. View your current membership status and "Paid Through" date.
    2. Access, download, and pay outstanding invoices online.
    3. Set up automated renewal preferences if applicable.
  3. Organization Management (Self-Service): This section is specifically for "Company Administrators." You will learn how to manage your organization's presence on our site, including:
    1. Updating your company profile and contact details.
    2. Managing your Company Roster: adding new employees to your organization or removing former staff members.
    3. Assigning administrative roles to other team members.
  4. Event Registration: Individuals and Groups: Master our new streamlined registration process. We will cover:
    1. How to register yourself for upcoming HEC events.
    2. The "Register Someone Else" feature: how to sign up colleagues or entire groups in a single transaction.
    3. Payment methods
