As part of its Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) program, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be offering an IMAGE Training and Forum on Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Honolulu. The training will focus on what employers need to know about Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9), IMAGE, E-Verify, and anti-discrimination.
Undocumented workers secure jobs through fraudulent means such as presenting false documents, completing fraudulent benefit applications and stealing someone's identity, ICE says, and the IMAGE program increases awareness of fraudulent documents through education and training. The agenda for the June 20 can be obtained here. Employers may register at www.ice.gov/image. The training site will be determined at a later time depending on the number of attendees, ICE says.
