The Department of Labor recently announced the opening of its CareerOneStop Business Center, which includes tips about recruiting qualified candidates through local American Job Centers, and access to local training and educational institutions.

The website also includes a tool to help employers translate military training and skills into specific civilian occupations. "These resources will help educate employers about our nation's work force development system and put the resources they need to find and hire qualified workers right at their fingertips," said Jane Oates, assistant secretary of labor for employment and training.
