Published Tuesday, July 30, 2013 4:43 pm

There are still seats available for a three-day intensive, interactive program tracing the grievance and arbitration process from the disciplinary decision (or the contract interpretation grievance) all the way through to settlement (or arbitration award).

The program will be presented by Hawaii Employers Council and the American Arbitration Association, and will feature prominent speakers including John English, Vice President, American Arbitration Association, Howell Lankford, Esq., AAA Labor Panelist and NAA Member, Lou Chang, Esq., AAA Labor Panelist and NAA member, and Todd Lyon, Esq., Labor-Management and Employment Attorney. The session will be held in HEC's Kahili Meeting Room. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from these experts and work through hypotheticals and role-play, along with exercises in grievance evaluations and arbitration advocacy. Read more.
