The Nominating Committee of the Hawaii Employers Council has filed with Corporate Secretary Sheri-Ann Lau Clark the names of 12 nominees for election to three-year terms on HEC's Board of Governors, beginning in 2013.

The names of the Board nominees will appear on the proxy ballot that will be sent to members by October 27, 2013. Under HEC's by-laws, other individuals may be nominated to the HEC Board if (1) the individual represents an HEC member located in a county with a Board vacancy; (2) the individual's nomination includes signatures from at least ten (10) HEC members; (3) the individual is willing to serve on the Board, and (4) the nomination and supporting signatures are received by October 22, 2013.
