According to a recent CareerBuilder Survey, one in five workers plan to change jobs in 2014, citing dissatisfaction with their compensation as a key motivator. An effective compensation program is an important aspect of an organization's ability to attract, retain and motivate talented employees. This month, HEC invites you to review whether you have an updated compensation philosophy along with the strategy, structure and programs to support your mission, vision and values. HEC staff is available to assist in your compensation strategy review and development, to ensure that your organization remains competitive with regard to employee pay and benefits. Staff is also available to assist with special surveys for those members who have specific information needs that exceed the scope of HEC's survey program. For more information on these resources, please contact Cathy Keaulani, Research & Compensation Services Manager (440-8845), or Susan Amuro, Research & Compensation Analyst (440-8809).
