The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs has extended the comment period for its proposed rule requiring federal contractors and subcontractors to provide summary compensation data on an annual basis. The proposed rule, which was published in the Federal Register on August 8, would require the submission of an annual Equal Pay Report by companies that file EEO-1 reports, have more than 100 employees, and hold federal contracts or subcontracts worth $50,000 or more for at least 30 days. The comment period, which was to end on November 6, will extend 60 days to January 5, 2015. Click here to read and comment on the proposed rule.
