Learn to Design and Implement Leadership Development and Succession on April 23

HEC will present a morning program to introduce participants to a framework for accelerating the development of leaders and managing leadership succession in their organizations.  This program, which will be facilitated by Wendy Nakamura, founder of FORESIGHT Leadership Development, LLC, will provide participants with a development model focused on the following:  identifying leadership competencies which are critical to your leaders' current and future success; assessing leadership potential, creating developmental plans to leverage your leaders' strengths and address areas for development; and evaluating the developmental process.  Participants will complete a personal "Leadership Development Plan" as part of the workshop.  They will also learn different methods of managing succession, including traditional replacement planning, as well as more contemporary approaches such as critical position management, high potential programs, and succession pools.
