The Hawaii Employers Council will host a six-part training program designed for HR practitioners and Operations Managers whose job duties involve dealing with employer-employee relations on a regular basis. The series, which will run between May and July, will cover a range of employment laws, including I-9 compliance (May 7), harassment issues (May 14), the Family and Medical Leave Act (June 4), the Fair Labor Standards Act (June 18), and workplace speech, expression and privacy (July 16). The series will culminate with a session on discipline and termination (July 30). Registration will open soon and enrollment will be limited.
