Published Friday, January 29, 2016 2:12 pm

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), US Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the US Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) will host a catered breakfast meeting to educate Hawaii's senior business leaders on VEVRAA regulatory requirements and further strengthen partnerships between Hawaii's employers and Veterans employment service providers.  The meeting will be held from 8:00 ? 10:00 a.m. on February 10, 2016 at the Dole Cannery Pomaikai Ballroom.

This event is intended for company executives and directors.  It will provide business leaders with valuable information on:

  • Strengthening their workforces through Veterans recruitment and retention programs.
  • Understanding how employer-service provider relationships can help ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Sharing best practice tips with colleagues on how to attract talented Veterans into their workforce.

Space is limited and cannot accommodate multiple representatives per organization.  To ensure that your organization's attendance, the company representative who plans to attend (i.e., an executive or director with overall responsibility of the Veterans affirmative action program) should RSVP as soon as possible.

If you need a reasonable accommodation for this event or have any questions, please contact (808) 541-2933 or email Jennifer Caparas at Caparas.min-chih@dol.gov.
