Each year, the Cascade Employers Association coordinates the National Business Trends survey, which asks participants to provide responses to various questions to identify business plans, objectives, and challenges for the upcoming year.

 

This survey is conducted via employer associations throughout the country.  For the Hawaii portion of the survey, HEC invites its members to participate and this year we received responses from 115 organizations.

 

The full national report from Cascade was released to all companies that participated in the survey.  Participating HEC members also received a report summarizing the results from Hawaii, which is now being made available to all HEC members.

 

The Hawaii report discusses challenges that executives foresee for the upcoming year, issues related to recruitment & retention, generational insights, and insights specific to 2017.
